Report on my new Beach Cart at Putty Beach, Central Coast, NSW-Saturday, August 4th 2012.

On Saturday August 4th, eleven members and friends of a Sydney Fishing Club ventured up the F3 Freeway from Sydney and onwards to Putty Beach. A magnificent day was there to greet all who attended!

I was first on the beach by 5.25AM. It was the first time that I had used my new Beach Cart which proved to be a magnificent aid to get the necessary gear to and fro from the beach.

I examined the beach carefully for gutters with the Beach Cart in tow loaded with all my fishing gear which made the reconnoitre extremely easy. Without it, the two to three hundred metre wander up and down the beach would have proved extremely difficult and exhausting even before the morning fish had begun. I decided that the area within a hundred metres from the southern rocks was best.

The most noticeable evidence of the ease in its tracking can be seen in the accompanying photo-it simply glided over the sand with a minimum of sand disturbance even with the 30 kg of load.

Throughout the morning, it also served as a very stable table above the sand. It was very noticeable that my food was free from sand and at a height which made the break most relaxing.

As a result, the morning’s fishing was made far more enjoyable by having the Beach Cart adjacent to me at all times. I was able to give far more focus to why I was there. As a result, a couple of good fish which included a 700mm Salmon was landed:

With the Beach Cart, beach fishing becomes a very easy and relaxing experience. I would most certainly recommend Beach Cart to any serious fisho.
